The Sultanate of Oman, through the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, offers scholarship programmes for Omani nationals to study abroad and for international students under bilateral agreements.
PROGRAMME TYPES
His Majesty’s Scholarship (for Omani nationals):
- Prestigious scholarships for top Omani students to pursue higher education at world-class universities abroad
- Covers tuition, living expenses, airfare, and health insurance
Sultan Qaboos University Scholarships:
- Sultan Qaboos University (the national university) offers some scholarships for students under bilateral arrangements
Bilateral Scholarships for International Students:
- Oman offers limited placements for international students from partner Arab and OIC countries
