The Kenyan Government, through the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and bilateral agreements, offers scholarships to international students from partner countries to study at Kenyan universities. The programme aims to foster academic excellence and strengthen Kenya’s ties with partner nations through educational exchange.

HOW TO APPLY?
- Check current scholarship announcements on the HELB website at helb.co.ke
- Apply through the Kenyan embassy or High Commission in your home country
- Submit required documents including academic certificates, passport copy, and letter of recommendation

Applications are accepted from January to July each year. Deadline: July 31, 2026.
