OVERVIEW

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), an international financial institution funded by member governments, offers scholarship programmes to students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries. The programmes are available for undergraduate through PhD levels across multiple fields.

PROGRAMME TYPES

IsDB Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology:

  • For postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD) in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
  • Studies at universities within IsDB member countries or selected non-member countries

IsDB-IRTI Islamic Economics Scholarship:

  • Specifically for postgraduate studies in Islamic economics and finance

IsDB Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • For undergraduate students from least developed or low-income IsDB member countries

Cooperative Scholarship Programmes:

  • Joint programmes with partner countries and institutions
