OVERVIEW
The Azerbaijani Government, through the State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) and the Ministry of Education, offers scholarships for foreign students to study at Azerbaijani state universities. The programme targets students from Turkey, CIS countries, and nations with bilateral educational agreements with Azerbaijan.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
- Full tuition fees at Azerbaijani state universities
- Monthly living allowance
- Accommodation in university dormitories
- Azerbaijani/Russian language preparatory course (for non-Azerbaijani speakers)
DEGREE LEVELS
Undergraduate (Bachelor’s), Master’s degree, and PhD studies.
HOW TO APPLY?
- Apply through the Azerbaijani embassy or consulate in your home country
- Applications are processed through bilateral agreements
- Submit academic transcripts, health certificate, and motivation letter
- Application period: typically April–June each year
