Overview
The Lithuanian State Scholarships Program is a prestigious government-funded initiative administered by the Lithuanian Education Exchanges Support Foundation (LAMA BPO) and financed by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, Science and Sports. The program aims to support international students and scholars in pursuing short-term studies, full-time Master’s degrees, or doctoral research at Lithuanian universities. It also promotes academic exchange and strengthens Lithuania’s international educational ties.
The program offers several scholarship categories depending on the applicant’s home country, academic level, and study type. These range from short-term study programs and language and culture courses to full-time Master’s studies, attracting students from a wide range of eligible countries including those in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and beyond.
